About Groen Builders, Inc.

Faith in God, hard work, and integrity in life are the legacy Fenton and Warren Groen inherited from their parents over the years.  Growing up on a farm in Southwest Minnesota with 13 additional siblings, the brothers learned the value of commitment, community, and family.

In 2000, Fenton, who has lived in New Hampshire for 30 years, decided to start a home-building company with his two sons, Dave and Joe.  A few years later, in 2002, Warren moved his family from New Jersey to join the business.  Warren’s oldest son Jon joined the Groen Builders team as well.

The company started out very modestly – our first job was installing a single air conditioner!  But God has blessed Groen Builders and now an impressive repertoire of custom homes, as well as a number of commercial projects, make up the Groen Builders portfolio.

Foreseeing the downfalls of continued dependence on foreign oil, Fenton began researching energy efficient building methods and materials early on.  After years of experience, most of the Groen Builders homes now proudly bear the coveted Five Star Plus rating from Energy Star. 

Today, commitment, community, and family still play an important role in how we at Groen Builders run our business, deal with our subcontractors and vendors, and interact with our customers.  We invite you to contact us for a unique and refreshing building experience!
